Bo serves as Director of Community Care and is based in Omaha, Nebraska.
He first had his eyes opened to issues of poverty and injustice while studying abroad and doing a law internship in the United Kingdom. Convinced that real encounters with grace move us to compassion, generosity, and solidarity, he has served on or led teams to over 15 countries including China, Russia, Peru, and Belize. While serving on the senior leadership team of the U.S. office of Food for the Hungry, he also participated in field visits to Nicaragua, Uganda, and Rwanda. He did his undergraduate work at Central College and has earned graduate degrees from Covenant Seminary (MDIV) and the University of Illinois (M.Ed.). He is married to Tamara and they have two children.
