Diego was born into a Christian family. His father is a pastor and a tailor, and he taught Diego how to sew from a very young age. His mother died when he was five years old, and he grew up with relatives in the tropical city of Caranavi. His brothers and sisters took him to church when he was a child, but he
didn’t understand much of what went on.
Two years after finishing high school, Diego accepted Christ into his heart. Slowly God is showing Diego his purposes and plans for his life. Diego heard about WMF Bolivia through his sister Nancy, who had just started working for WMF when Suti Sana was looking to hire a master tailor. He is thankful to God and his earthly father for giving him the talent to sew, as he now trains and oversees the production aspect of Suti Sana.
Diego is married to Adela, and together they have a daughter, Raquel.
