Jeff grew up in a small community in Eastern Wisconsin with five other siblings. He graduated high school in 2006 and followed his older sister to Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, where he majored in accounting. At college, Jeff's faith took on a shape of its own as he began to challenge his beliefs. After serving in remote Western Alaska in a youth ministry role for two summers, his eyes were opened to God's heart for the oppressed, and he began looking for opportunities to use his skills in a role that served those less fortunate. Jeff was alerted to a need for an accountant at Word Made Flesh's Omaha office and applied that same day. After months of preparation and anticipation, Jeff moved to Omaha and is serving in the Administrative Department as the staff accountant.
