Kathryn lives in Memphis, TN with her husband Dan and daughter Mae, but a piece of her heart beats in Kolkata, India with the ladies of Sari Bari and the staff of Word Made Flesh there. Born and raised in Memphis, in a family committed to service, Kathryn fell in love with Jesus during her high school years and with friends in poverty while in college.
After the tsunami in Southeast Asia, Kathryn served with Word Made Flesh on a relief team in Sri Lanka in the spring of 2005. While there, she had the joy and privilege of getting to know the Kolkata team, and she kept up with them in the following years. From thousands of miles away, she "watched" as Sari Bari was born and grew! In fall 2008, Kathryn took over the role of U.S. Distributor for Sari Bari, sending products in the U.S., which she especially loves because it allows her to connect the beautiful ladies of Sari Bari with their fans and supporters on this side of the world.
