Sharon was born and raised in Omaha, NE as the youngest of five children. She graduated from Grace University with a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies with a concentration in French. Sharon has lived in Mali, West Africa, three times for a grand total of thirteen months. In between trip one and two to Mali, she spent four months in Albertville, France at a French language school. It was through all the time spent in Mali and all the relationships she made there that Sharon learned the most about living cross-culturally and the power of Christ to unite people from all different backgrounds. Some of her greatest mentoring relationships are with Malians and they taught her about generosity, hospitality, and giving even when you have nothing to give. Sharon will be serving the WMF community through the role of Community Care Coordinator. Sharon loves a good book, a cup of coffee and talking with people about life and the world we live in.
