From Cara Strauss.
We had a staff reflection on the new logo this morning, and we’ll probably have another one next month. But I wanted to share a few of the reflections with you.
Victoria Quispe–Birds don’t have much need, and they proclaim that by singing in the morning. There’s always a space for them, no matter how small. They always find a space.
Eliana Carrillo–Birds are messengers. And when they first learn to fly, they fall, and then they try again. Even if they get hurt, they try and try until they can fly.
Feliza Mamani–They’re like our women. They want to try to fly, but they’re scared. But a bird is free, and sees all that God has made.
Rosaisela Torres–When birds are caught in highly cold weather, they group together in a circle, with the smaller, weaker ones in the middle. As the birds warm up and gain strength, they move to the outside to give the outside ones a chance to warm up. They balance their strengths as a community.
i heart this.
thanks so much for sharing!
