Prayer Request

six days

8 January 2010

As our January 15th departure to Moldova draws ever closer, here are some ways that you can be in prayer for our team:

1) Pray for Annie Keith, our servant team coordinator, who will be arriving in Romania on Tuesday the 12th from the States as our newest staff member.  She will spend a few days with the community in Galati before we all head to Moldova together.  Pray for peace as she says goodbye to her friends and family and grace as she transitions into this new stage of life with WMF.

2) Pray for us and the entire WMF Romania community on Wednesday the 13th.  The Romania community will be conducting a sending ceremony for us.  Pray that God’s presence would be felt among us as we reflect on the calling God has placed on our lives for Moldova and say goodbye to dear friends.

3) Pray for us on the 15th as we move to Moldova.  We’ll be transported by several gracious friends along the 6 hour journey to Chisinau.  Pray that we would pass through customs easily and arrive safely.

4) Pray for each of us: Rachel, Magda, Iosif, John, Annie and Adriana.  Ask for mercy to be poured out over each of us as we are each confronted with different issues in this time of transition.  Pray for unity and understanding among us as we are already experiencing conflict.  Ask that it would be used in a healthy way to strengthen us as a team.

John, I pray that you each would see conflict as an opportunity for ministry and that through it you will see God’s hand move in your lives and through your lives as you keep your eyes on the prize before you. Blessings for a transition that brings glory to God the Father.
