Short-term volunteer service opportunitites

WMF offers short-term service opportunities through a variety of means. The most common is a four-month discipleship-based program called the Servant Team. Less frequently, WMF offers shorter, (usually 2-6 week) exposure-based trips called Discovery Teams. As needs around the world arise and opportunities present themselves, WMF will offer Special Teams to those who are interested in volunteering for relief work.

If you live in the Omaha, NE area, volunteer opportunities are available in the U.S. office. These opportunities could include helping out with administrative, clerical and mail duties or occassional office upkeep. Please call 1-800-CRY-4-KIDS if you are interested.

Full-time service opportunities

We generally require anyone who is interested in coming on staff with WMF in a full-time overseas service to complete a Servant Team as the first point of entry and as a way of exploring if joining the WMF community is a good fit for you and us.
