Sierra Leone

1. Chris, Erin and baby Keyara are back in the states.  Please pray that their time with friends and family will be a sweet and refreshing time.

2. Stephanie returns to Freetown on the 15th.  Please pray for her transition back.  Pray that she will be able to find a sustainble and life-giving way of life here.

3. Pray for our week long camp (July 19-24).  This year a group of teens from inner city Michigan will be participating in our camp.  Pray that God will use the time to soften hearts and change lives.  Pray that the teens will be able learn from one another.  Pray that all the logistics will come together.

4. The teens from Michigan arrive on Friday (July 17).  Please pray that the plane arrives safely and that they will be able to get through customs and out of the airport without much trouble.  Pray for the ferry ride to Freetown from the airport, that they ferry will not run into any problems and they will arrive quickly and safely.

5. Pray for the service project the week after camp (July 27-30).  The teens from Lighthouse and Michigan will be doing some painting and repair work at (and around) the church that we use in Kroo Bay.  Pray that God will be teaching them through serving one another.

6. Pray for our finances.  Right now our office is the living and dinning room of Faye and Cami’s apartment.  The place where one of the small group is meeing is also the living room.  We hope to be able to rent a facility near Kroo Bay in the next year for office space and learning center for the teens and kids that we work with.

7. Pray for our teens, some still don’t have a place to sleep.  They still sleep in abandoned buildings and street stalls.  Pray for wisdom that we will know how to help them.  Pray for them, that they find a safe place to live.
