1. Please pray for our first WMF Sierra Leone board meeting this Saturday September 12. We will be presenting potential board members with information on WMF Sierra Leone’s history, WMF philosophy and what it means to be on the board.
2. Please pray for our community of Sierra Leoneans, Americans and Germans. It can be challenging to work with different cultures and personalities. Pray that we will be able to love one another well and that we will be able to interact with one another in love, humility and patience.
3. It has been raining hard for the last 2 months. The flooding have resulted in deaths in some areas, as well damages of property and loss of personal items. Even our own Aunty Sallie’s house was flooded almost waist deep. This has been very discouraging for her because she lost many of her prized photos and documents. Please pray for her and all those who are suffering due to the rain. Please pray that God will provide and comfort them, and pray that the rain will reduce.
4. Pray for the new servant team that arrived in August. Pray that God will use them to bring hope to Sierra Leone and pray that God will remove the calluses from their eyes so that they will be able to see the world in a new way. Pray that they will learn the Krio language quickly and be able to communicate with the people around them.
5. Pray for some of our staff as they struggle with living in Freetown. Pray that God will renew their hope and joy. Pray that God will protect them from the attack of the evil one.
Lord I beseech Thee. Danny leads & encourages others to Pray & Follow Our Lord. He is a Believer, a husband, a Dad, successful job, but Danny lusts and seeks other women. Condemn & renounce Danny’s lustful sin. Convict & guide Danny to restore his marriage. In Christ’s name. Amen
