“i will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me …”
This passage from Habakkuk has a beautiful imagery. I see him standing in the watch tower, of the destroyed or desolate city of Jerusalem in the middle of a desert watching the sky’s for Gods power. There is a beautiful awe and praise of Gods power mingled with a cry out to God for the injustices he is witnessing. Habbakkuk cries out to God in complaint and then waits on God.
The injustices reported to God in this book feel very similar to what we see on a regular basis. And I feel often that waiting. We pray and wait for God to rise up against what he detests. PLEASE over this next month PRAY with us.
PRAY…
…as we make decisions and move forward this month we really need Gods guidance, doors to open.
Pray specifically as we move for location and a generous honest landlord.
Pray for doors to open, for favor and for partnership.
We will welcome two teams this summer pray that their time will be blessed and fruitful that they will here Gods voice speaking for the things He loves.
As always continue to pray fervently for the many lives that are in need here.
