Missions Fest Alberta welcomes Chris Heuertz

Chris Heuertz will be trading in his flip-flops for mukluks as he travels north to Edmonton, Alberta as featured speaker for an annual gathering drawing together several thousand Albertans each year.   Missions Fest Alberta is a three-day family event held in Edmonton annually.    It is sponsored by Alberta and Saskatchewan congregations from many evangelical denominations.   The event will take place February 19-21 at the Shaw Conference Centre, 9797 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton.

Chris will be speaking at three plenary sessions as follows:

  • Friday, February 19 — 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm –  “A Community of Broken Among the Broken”
  • Saturday, February 20 –  2:45 pm - 4:00 pm –  “Re-Membering Mission”
  • Sunday, February 21  — 2:15 pm - 3:30 pm  — “Broken to Serve”

    lol he wasnt wearing mukluks when I heard him speak at the lunchin :)Awsome speech, exactly the type of work I want to get involved in. Hope to hear more of his speech on saturday and hopefully get some information on volunteer opportunities abroad. God Bless.
