Mark Petersen hosted a gathering in Toronto, Canada, to announce the registration process of a WMF Canadian charity. We hope to formalize the charity by the end of 2009. More news to come!
Hi there! I am so moved by what I have read on your website. I have skimmed through the servant handbook, and was amazed and touched by the clarity of your dedication to following the walk of Jesus, as well as the depth of information on servant opportunites and expectancies. I belong to a young but vibrant church plant called Dunamis, in Sarnia Ontario, Canada. I was so hoping to find your organization in Canada. I would like to get to know more about word made flesh. I am even pondering a discovery team, or servant trip depending on how the Lord leads me.
I am currently working at an office placement, where my focus has been fundraising and event planning for a local not for profit organization.
My second focus for this summer is “the Landing” which will be a Christian outdoor concert, with 2 main goals, 1.Reaching the lost in our city, and local U.S. border towns 2.uniting local churches in an interdenominational event for the sake of spreading the gospel.
I am not sure yet what my role might be to you, but I would like to know more about wether there is any opportunities for Canadians to get involved in service. may God bless you this week. Sincerley,
